 The Clinton Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Big Foot Chiefs at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 If Clinton beats Big Foot with six  runs on Thursday, it's going to be the  team's new lucky number: they've won their past two  contests with that exact score. Clinton walked away with  a   6-3  win over Edgerton  on Tuesday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Clinton.
 The team  relied heavily on  Jordi Morrison, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Allie Bell, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Big Foot can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Turner as Big Foot made off with  a  14-6 victory.
  Holly Kynell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and five unearned) runs off   ten  hits. Kynell has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Kynell was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news, Big Foot got a  massive  performance out of  Lily Wolf, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-6.  Kate Hummel was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Clinton's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Big Foot, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
