Volleyball Recap: East Gets the Win

East lost to Independence back in August of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Tigers put the hurt on the 76ers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

East's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Independence, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, East will square off against Walnut Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Independence, they will venture away from home to take on Columbus International at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
