Belfry is a perfect 7-0 against Mingo Central since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pirates will be playing at home against the Miners at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Belfry's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Mingo Central has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Saturday, Belfry came up short against Chapmanville Regional and fell 5-1.

Meanwhile, Mingo Central suffered their closest loss since April 15, 2024 two weeks ago. They fell just short of Martin County by a score of 8-6.

Belfry's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Mingo Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Belfry took their victory against Mingo Central when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 13-0 score. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Miners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
