Football Recap: Williams Vikings vs. Bagdad Sultans
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Williams can now relate to. They and the Bagdad Sultans were almost perfectly matched up on Saturday, but they suffered a 19-18 defeat. The contest was a 12-12 toss-up at halftime, but the Vikings couldn't quite close it out.
Kyle Mendoza and Jack Dent certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Mendoza picked up 98 receiving yards and two TDs, while Dent threw for 167 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
