 Jamestown is on  a three-game streak of home losses, West Middlesex a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Jamestown Muskies will take on the West Middlesex Big Reds at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
 Jamestown lost  20-2 to Lakeview on Thursday.
  Hoyt Kammerdiener made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-1 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, West Middlesex sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  5-3  victory over Mercer  on Friday.
  Logan Kent made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned runs off   six  hits. Kent was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases and two  RBI.
 Kent wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Bowen Briggs, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for West Middlesex, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
 Jamestown suffered a grim  14-2 defeat to West Middlesex  when the teams last played  last Saturday. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  West Middlesex's  Kyle Gilson, who   struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits (and only one walk).
