Softball Recap: Kennedy Find Success

Kennedy's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Louisville Royals.

Anais Perez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sarah Olague, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Alina Ortiz, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

The victory got Kennedy back to even at 1-1. As for Louisville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cleveland at 3:00 p.m. on March 12th. As for Louisville, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on El Camino Real at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
