Kingfisher entered their tilt with Woodward on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Woodward Boomers 46-27. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Boomers are ranked 132nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kingfisher is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Woodward, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-5.

Kingfisher wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-45 win against Weatherford on the 25th. Woodward has also already played their next game, a 50-33 defeat against Harrah on the 25th.
