Central Valley Christian extended their home winning streak to 17 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Cooper Piepgrass. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the El Diamante Miners with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday with plenty of help from Piepgrass, who had 16 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Central Valley Christian took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-12.

Despite the loss, El Diamante still got an impressive performance from Diamond Palomo, who had nine digs and one assist.

Central Valley Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for El Diamante, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Central Valley Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Clovis North on the 21st. As for El Diamante, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Sierra on the 22nd.
