After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Trier, Evanston was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Glenbrook North Spartans. For the Wildkits, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Evanston's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Glenbrook North, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Evanston will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Spartans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
