Basketball Recap: Van Buren's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak at Home

After losing to South Iron the last time they met, Van Buren decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Van Buren Bulldogs walked away with a 53-44 victory over the South Iron Panthers on Tuesday.

Van Buren's win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-6. As for South Iron, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Clearwater the next time they take the court. Van Buren will head out to face Clearwater at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while South Iron will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
