Jayden Knight Game Report: vs Yreka

While West Valley might've come up empty on Friday, Jayden Knight wasn't going down without a fight. Knight was dynamite, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Knight and West Valley will face off against Gridley at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since March of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
