Soccer Game Preview: Greeneville vs. West

The Greeneville Greene Devils will take on the West Rebels at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Greeneville headed into their last match having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Claiborne let them put that streak behind them. The Greene Devils never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. Greeneville haven't had any issues with Claiborne recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, West came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Tornadoes as they made off with a 5-1 win. With West ahead 3-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

West pushed their record up to 7-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Greeneville, their win bumped their record up to 3-5-1.
