Softball Recap: First Coast Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for First Coast's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Buccaneers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

First Coast has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. The victory (which was Paxon School For Advanced Studies' seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Looking ahead, First Coast will be playing at home against Tocoi Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, they will head out to face off against Atlantic Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
