Basketball Game Preview: Glynn Academy Terrors vs. Bradwell Institute Tigers

Having just played yesterday, the Glynn Academy Terrors will jump right back in to play the Bradwell Institute Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Glynn Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

On Wednesday, Glynn Academy strolled past Lakeside with points to spare, taking the game 52-34.

Meanwhile, Bradwell Institute entered their matchup against Brunswick on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The contest between Bradwell Institute and Brunswick didn't end well, with Bradwell Institute falling 53-38. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Glynn Academy will need to focus on slowing down Mikayla Oliveira, one of several Bradwell Institute players who made an impact when they last played. She posted three points along with five rebounds and four blocks. Those four blocks gave Oliveira a new career-high. Parris Parham was another key player, putting up 11 points and five boards.

Glynn Academy's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Bradwell Institute, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 21-3.

Glynn Academy lost to Bradwell Institute on the road by a decisive 49-35 margin when the teams last played back in January. Can Glynn Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
