Kaiser has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.31 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 12-2 to the Grand Terrace Titans. The Cats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kaiser saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Alexander Chavez, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Chavez's first of the season.

Kaiser's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Grand Terrace, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

While Kaiser had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
