Volleyball Recap: Woonsocket Takes a Loss

Woonsocket was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Lincoln Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-18.

Woonsocket's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Woonsocket didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Central Falls on the 19th. As for Lincoln, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against West Warwick on the 19th.
