Football Game Preview: Hominy Bucks vs. Regent Prep + Official Tickets

The Hominy Bucks will look to defend their home field on Friday against Regent Prep at 7:00 p.m. Hominy will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Friday, Hominy got the win against Afton by a conclusive 34-8. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bucks' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Eagles are ranked 255th).

Blaine Hipp was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 113 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven passes.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Hominy proved: they limited Afton to a paltry 1.8 yards per carry. The Bucks didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.9.

Meanwhile, after only 13 points in their last game, Regent Prep made sure to put some points up on the board against Wewoka on Friday. Regent Prep skirted past Wewoka 48-46.

Hominy's record now sits at 8-2. As for Regent Prep, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
