Basketball Recap: Sheffield Comes Up Short

Sheffield lost against Deshler back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sheffield Bulldogs took an 83-66 bruising from the Deshler Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Tigers are ranked 114th).

Sheffield now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Deshler, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Sheffield will be playing in front of their home fans against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Deshler, they will square off against Hatton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
