Basketball Recap: Ayersville's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Ayersville won the last time they faced Edgerton, and Avery Knueven did her part to make sure it happened again. The Ayersville Pilots skirted past the Edgerton Bulldogs 45-43 thanks in part to Knueven, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

With the victory, Ayersville broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7. As for Edgerton, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Ayersville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 43-34 loss against Hilltop on the 27th. As for Edgerton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-42 win against Hicksville on the 2nd.
