Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mayde Creek). They came out on top against the Fort Bend Kempner Cougars by a score of 8-3 on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Mayde Creek's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8-1. As for Fort Bend Kempner, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8-1.

Looking ahead, Mayde Creek will head out to square off against Jordan at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Mayde Creek's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
