Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for South Adams

South Adams proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Heritage Christian Eagles, sneaking past 2-1. This was payback for the Starfires, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Reece Beitler paced South Adams' offense, picking up ten kills. Beitler got some help from Reagan Beitler and her 13 assists. Laney Trausch controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The victory was the third in a row for South Adams, bringing their record up to 13-4. As for Heritage Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

South Adams didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cambridge City Lincoln on the 13th. As for Heritage Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Blackford on the 13th.
