Becca Schriver Game Report: @ Northgate

Shady Side Academy had to settle for second on Wednesday, but Becca Schriver sure wasn't going down easily. Schriver made a splash, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and nine unearned) runs off six hits. She was up against Northgate and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in May of 2024. Those hits were Schriver's first of the season.

Coming up, Schriver and Shady Side Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Apollo Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 236 places lower in Pennsylvania), but they're not letting that get them down.
