Football Game Preview: Perry Ramblers vs. Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates + How To Watch

The Perry Ramblers will square off against the Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Perry: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Pewamo-Westphalia has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Perry is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 35-14 margin over Dansville on Friday. The Ramblers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 4, 2024 (when they won 38-6).

Perry's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Rockafellow, who picked up 81 receiving yards and a pair of scores. The team also got some help courtesy of JT Lynch, who rushed for 67 yards and one TD on only six carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Perry proved: they limited Dansville to a paltry 3.2 yards per carry. The Ramblers' run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 3.9 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 5.77 on average over their last five games.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Pewamo-Westphalia and Fowler, and Pewamo-Westphalia kept the tradition alive. The Pirates took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 37-6 victory over the Eagles. Fans of the Pirates have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Pewamo-Westphalia's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Perry, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Perry took a serious blow against Pewamo-Westphalia in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 49-6. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Ramblers were down 49-0.
