Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside). They enjoyed a cozy 94-75 victory over the Adamsville Cardinals on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-43 back in January.

Leading Riverside to victory were Jack Cupples and Landon Swindle. Cupples dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Swindle dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 boards. The game was Cupples' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Austin Shelton, who posted eight points and five assists.

Riverside was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Riverside is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points per game. As for Adamsville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Riverside will square off against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
