Basketball Recap: Oak Forest Academy Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rossville Christian Academy, Oak Forest Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They strolled past the Fayette Academy Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 71-53.

Fayette Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harris Armour, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kahne Dozier, who earned seven points and eight rebounds.

Oak Forest Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Fayette Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Oak Forest Academy will head out to square off against Bowling Green at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Fayette Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hardin County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
