Everglades City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Naples Classical Academy, falling 9-3.

Damien Stokes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. He also got a hit, marking his first of the season. Hunter Irizarry was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
