Soccer Game Preview: Dillon vs. Green Sea Floyds

The Dillon Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Green Sea Floyds Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dillon has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Dillon is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Waccamaw just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Warriors. While losing is never fun, Dillon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Waccamaw are ranked 29th).

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Green Sea Floyds' good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Christian Academy, falling 4-1.

Dillon's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Green Sea Floyds, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
