Basketball Recap: Campbellsport Takes a Loss

Campbellsport lost against Lomira back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Campbellsport Cougars took a 60-41 bruising from the Lomira Lions. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 375th, while the Lions are ranked 128th).

Campbellsport has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Lomira, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Campbellsport will challenge Omro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Omro's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 contests. As for Lomira, they will take on Random Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lomira is facing Random Lake at the right time seeing as Random Lake is stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
