Tintic hadn't done well against Milford recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Miners walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tigers. For the Miners, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Tintic had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 27-25, 25-19, 25-14.

When it comes to explaining why Milford lost, don't look at Jaidyn McMullin. Despite the final result, she had seven aces and four digs.

Tintic has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Milford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
