Basketball Recap: Canterbury Takes a Loss

Canterbury has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against The First Academy Royals on Saturday, falling 67-42.

Canterbury's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for The First Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Canterbury and The First Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Canterbury (ranked 47th) will meet East Lee County (ranked 490th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, The First Academy will challenge Timothy Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday up 256 places (24 vs. 280).
