Football Recap: Nikiski Bulldogs vs. Seward Seahawks
Nikiski and Seward squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Nikiski had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Seward Seahawks, falling 36-6. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Seahawks recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Seward had a senior duo take command as Ronan Bickling rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries and Noah Price rushed for 104 yards on only 14 carries. The dominant performance gave Price a new career-high in rushing yards.
Nikiski moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Seward, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
As of now, neither Nikiski nor Seward have any future games scheduled.
