Softball Recap: Chimacum Takes a Loss

Chimacum lost against Klahowya on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cowboys might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 27-1 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chimacum's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Klahowya, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9-1 record this season.

Chimacum and Klahowya could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Cowboys will challenge Cascade Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (275 vs. 90). Meanwhile, Klahowya (ranked 151st) will meet Cedar Park Christian (ranked 32nd) at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
