Softball Recap: West Lincoln Takes a Loss

West Lincoln and Pisgah squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but West Lincoln had to settle for second. They came up short against the Dragons, falling 15-3. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost five in a row.

West Lincoln saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee Wallace, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

West Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Pisgah, their record now sits at 19-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Dragons beat West Lincoln by a score of 14-3 on Thursday.
