Lyndon Institute took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They blew past Missisquoi Valley 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Hartford didn't have quite enough to beat Harwood on Saturday and fell 3-2. The loss put an end to the Hurricanes' undefeated start to the season.

Lyndon Institute's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Hartford, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
