Swansboro had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Pamlico County on Wednesday. The Pirates blew past the Hurricanes 3-0. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the   3-1 victory the Hurricanes walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in September of 2024.
 Swansboro walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-11,  25-21.
