Softball Recap: St. Bonaventure Takes a Loss

St. Bonaventure dropped their record down to 12-10 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Grace Lancers by a score of 9-7. That's two games in a row now that the Seraphs have lost by exactly two runs.

Hallie Barlow was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Leea Martinez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

As for Grace, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games.

On Grace's side, Ava Depew was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most doubles Depew has posted since back in March of 2024. Addi Feola also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Bonaventure will square off against Foothill Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grace, they will challenge Oak Park at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
