Basketball Recap: St. Clairsville Comes Up Short

St. Clairsville was the 55-49 winner over Edison when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Clairsville Red Devils took a blow against the Edison Wildcats on Monday, falling 49-15. The matchup marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Clairsville and nudges their season record down to 1-15. As for Edison, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Clairsville will square off against Barnesville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edison, they will challenge Beaver Local at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
