Football Game Preview: Liberty Lions vs. Boulder Creek Jaguars + Official Tickets

Liberty has gone 6-1 against Boulder Creek recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lions will take on the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Liberty is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

On Friday, Liberty humbled O'Connor with a 49-17 victory. Considering the Lions have won seven matchups by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Brayden Stevens and Kam Segall were among the main playmakers for Liberty as the former threw for 209 yards and three TDs on only 14 passes and the latter picked up 118 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those 118 receiving yards gave Segall a new career-high. Braxton Huynh also helped out with an impressive 98 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Boulder Creek played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 49-17 defeat at the hands of Centennial. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Coyotes recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Boulder Creek didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ethan Raber and Torin Hamilton.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Boulder Creek, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-6.

Everything came up roses for Liberty against Boulder Creek in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, as the squad secured a 37-7 victory. In that contest, the Lions amassed a halftime lead of 30-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
