El Dorado took care of business in their home opener on Friday (barely). They skirted past the Diamond Bar Brahmas 21-19. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2021.

Despite the loss, Diamond Bar still got an impressive performance from Quinton Mendoza, who threw for 184 yards and two touchdowns. Ethan Mcneil made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
El Dorado will face off against Redondo Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games El Dorado has played (dating back to last season) have been within three points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Diamond Bar, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
