Softball Game Preview: La Sierra Eagles vs. Rubidoux Falcons

For the second straight game, La Sierra will face off against Rubidoux. The Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Falcons at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.

La Sierra came out on top against Rubidoux on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Eagles put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 14-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won eight in a row.

For Rubidoux's part, they got a big performance out of Julianna Chavez, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

La Sierra's win bumped their record up to 4-17. As for Rubidoux, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
