Soccer Recap: Venice Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Venice can now relate to. They fell just short of the Riverview Sharks by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Venice and nudges their season record down to 13-6-1. As for Riverview, their win bumped their record up to 13-2-2.

Venice does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverview, they will host Riverview Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
