Volleyball Recap: Rye Takes a Loss

If Rye was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Byram Hills two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Garnets came up short against the Ardsley Panthers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Garnets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Rye may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Rye's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Ardsley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Rye nor Ardsley have any future games scheduled.
