Basketball Game Preview: North Davidson Black Knights vs. Asheboro Blue Comets

North Davidson hasn't had much luck against Asheboro recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The North Davidson Black Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Asheboro Blue Comets at 7:30 p.m.

North Davidson came up short against Oak Grove on Friday, falling 77-54. While losing is never fun, the Black Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 416th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 197th).

Meanwhile, Asheboro entered their tilt with Central Davidson on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 57-43.

Asheboro's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for North Davidson, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
