Softball Recap: Weston Comes Up Short

Weston lost to Pomperaug back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans lost 16-2 to the Panthers. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Weston's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Pomperaug, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Weston will square off against rival Bunnell at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Pomperaug is set to take on their familiar foe Newtown at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
