Football Game Preview: North Fayette Valley vs. Waukon

On Friday Waukon will take on North Fayette Valley at 7:00 PM. North Fayette Valley will need to watch out since Waukon have now posted big point totals in their last six contests.

Waukon might be getting used to good results now that the squad has seven wins in a row. They captured a comfortable 44-24 victory over Anamosa.

Meanwhile, it's always hard to lose, and it's even harder to lose by a single point. Just ask North Fayette Valley, the unfortunate recipient of a 34-35 loss at the hands of Columbus last Friday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

Waukon took the contest and then some with a 56-21 win over North Fayette Valley the last time the two teams met. Will Waukon repeat their success, or does North Fayette Valley have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
