Basketball Recap: Phillips Comes Up Short

Phillips and Cameron squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Phillips had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cameron Comets, falling 79-53. The Loggers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Phillips' defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Cameron, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

As of now, neither Phillips nor Cameron have any future games scheduled.
