Volleyball Game Preview: Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes vs. Los Alamos Hilltoppers + How To Watch

Pojoaque Valley hasn't had much luck against Los Alamos recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Elks/Elkettes will challenge the Hilltoppers at 6:00 p.m.

On Monday, Pojoaque Valley came up short against Espanola Valley and fell 3-1. While the Elks/Elkettes didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Sundevils 25-17 in the first set.

Pojoaque Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-23, 27-25, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Los Alamos waltzed into their match on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Pintos.

Los Alamos was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 22-25, 25-18, 25-15.

Pojoaque Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Los Alamos, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Pojoaque Valley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Los Alamos in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Elks/Elkettes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
