Botkins has gone 8-2 against Jackson Center recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Botkins Trojans will take on the Jackson Center Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Botkins has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Botkins is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Anna: they outscored them in every quarter. Botkins came out on top against Anna by a score of 66-53 on Tuesday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Rockets are ranked 399th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Jackson Center duked it out withHouston on Tuesday. Everything went Jackson Center's way against Houston as Jackson Center made off with a 61-35 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Jackson Center moved to 11-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Botkins, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Botkins skirted past Jackson Center 42-39 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Botkins since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
