Baseball Game Preview: Page Pirates vs. Salisbury Hornets

The Page Pirates will head out to challenge the Salisbury Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Page hasn't scored more than two runs for six games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Things were looking good for Page after they put the first run on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 6-1 to Southeast Guilford.

Meanwhile, Salisbury didn't have quite enough to beat North Rowan on Wednesday and fell 7-6. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Page's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Salisbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.

Page took their victory against Salisbury in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 13-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
