Softball Recap: Greencastle-Antrim Gets the Win

While Greencastle-Antrim's win against Waynesboro wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils skirted past the Indians 7-5. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Kindal Rice was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Miranda Martin, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Greencastle-Antrim's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Waynesboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Greencastle-Antrim is set to take on their familiar foe Northern York at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blue Devils 2.5, the Polar Bears 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Waynesboro will face off against rival West Perry at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
